It’s iHeartRadio Music Awards day! Hosted by the iconic rapper LL COOL J, the ceremony takes place tonight at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. “Excited to be back on the iHeartRadio stage to host this year’s awards. It’s going to be a night to remember—big energy, iconic moments, and special collaborations you won’t want to miss,” LL COOL J said in an official press release. The event will celebrate the songs and artists across multiple genres that achieved notable success on iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app throughout 2024. Who are the nominees?

Morgan Wallen and Taylor Swift lead the pack with ten nominations each. The country star is nominated in all three major categories—Song of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Best Collaboration—while Taylor is up for Artist of the Year and Best Collaboration. Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, and Sabrina Carpenter closely follow with nine nods each. Other artists receiving multiple nominations include aespa, Benson Boone, Billie Eilish, Bruno Mars, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Doja Cat, ENHYPEN, FEID, Future, GloRilla, Green Day, Hozier, ILLIT, Jelly Roll, Jimin, and Karol G.

Special Awards

Throughout the night, several special awards will be presented. Lady Gaga will receive the iHeartRadio Innovator Award. Mariah Carey will be honored with the prestigious iHeartRadio Icon Award, while Nelly will be recognized with the iHeartRadio Landmark Award. Additionally, Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour will be honored with the prestigious Tour of the Century award.

Who will perform?

iHeartRadio has announced a star-studded lineup of performers, including Billie Eilish, Bad Bunny, GloRilla, Gracie Abrams, Kenny Chesney, Muni Long, and Nelly. Additionally, a pre-recorded performance from Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour opening night will air during the show.

The iHeartRadio Music Awards 2025 will air live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles tonight, March 17 (8:00-10:00 p.m. ET live / PT tape-delayed) on FOX. The event will also be broadcast live on iHeartRadio stations nationwide and available for streaming on the iHeartRadio app.
