Madison Beer may be gearing up to release the music video for her new single, “Bittersweet.” The singer has set social media abuzz with new clues that strongly suggest fans won’t have to wait much longer — possibly not even past Monday, October 20.
The 26-year-old pop star, who is currently preparing for her third studio album, began teasing the “Bittersweet” video earlier this week. On Friday (October 17), Beer shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the set on Instagram. The image alone was enough to excite fans, but it was her comment that truly sent her followers into overdrive. “Talk Monday?” she wrote under the post — a simple phrase that quickly became the spark for speculation that the “Bittersweet” music video will premiere on Monday.

One major clue came from the singer’s official fan page on X (formerly Twitter), Madison Beer HQ, which reposted a viral tweet that read: “so we’re definitely getting the bittersweet music video, but WHEN, HOW, WHAT.” The fan account added their own cryptic caption — “and who” — leading many to believe a special guest appearance could be part of the video. While the track was released with only a lyric video, Beer had already confirmed that a music video was filmed and would be released at a later date.
“Bittersweet” was unveiled as the second single from Beer’s upcoming album, following “Yes Baby.” The song has quickly become a fan favorite, and was included in the setlist of her standout performance at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, where she also performed “Make You Mine,” and her previous single “Yes Baby.”
Her upcoming record, currently referred to by fans as MB3, is being described by Beer as her most personal and cinematic work yet. “This era feels like I’m finally making music that just feels like me,” she shared during a recent livestream. “No overthinking — just honesty and fun.” The singer has also been teasing another new track, “Nothing at All,” on TikTok, hinting that it could be the next single following “Bittersweet.”
