Released on March 7, Ruby has been widely praised for its blend of genres, including pop, hip-hop, and R&B. Upon release, the album debuted in the top 10 in 19 countries and sold over one million copies worldwide in its first week. On the US Billboard 200, Ruby debuted at No. 7 with 56,000 units.

One of the album’s biggest hits is undoubtedly “Like Jennie,” which has emerged as one of the standout tracks of 2025. The song has amassed over 290 million streams on Spotify, becoming the first 2025 K-pop release to reach that milestone. Additionally, it spent over 50 days in the top 10 of the Daily Spotify Global Chart, making Jennie the first K-pop artist to have multiple songs spend at least 50 days in Spotify’s Global Top 10. It also peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Global 200 and No. 3 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart.
