Jennie’s debut solo album, Ruby, has been a massive success, captivating millions of listeners worldwide and solidifying her status as a global powerhouse beyond BLACKPINK. The genre-blending LP made an immediate impact, selling over 1 million copies worldwide in its first week. Ruby debuted at No. 3 in the UK and No. 7 in the US. Additionally, following the album’s release, Jennie surpassed fellow BLACKPINK member LISA as the most-streamed female K-pop soloist on Spotify. Songs like “Like JENNIE,” “Handlebars,” and “ExtraL” have received high praise from both fans and critics.

Rosé achieved similar success with her debut solo album, Rosie, which dropped in December 2024. The LP was largely propelled by the global hit “APT.” featuring Bruno Mars, which has maintained impressive streaming numbers. In just a few months, the song has already amassed over 1.4 billion streams on Spotify—more than half of the album’s total streams.
