Speculation around a potential collaboration between Tame Impala and JENNIE has gained fresh momentum following a subtle but highly visible move from Kevin Parker. Fans noticed that the description of the music video for Tame Impala’s track “Dracula” was quietly edited, replacing Parker’s name with JENNIE’s. The line now reads: “My friends are saying ‘shut up Jennie just get in the car.’” While no explanation accompanied the change, its specificity immediately caught the attention of both fanbases. In addition, JENNIE’s label, Odd Atelier, shared a cryptic pre-save link on social media.
The edit arrives amid a growing trail of circumstantial clues. In recent days, Parker was also photographed by a fan wearing official JENNIE merchandise. On its own, the moment might have passed as coincidence. Combined with the altered video description, however, it has fueled renewed discussion about a possible “Dracula” remix featuring the BLACKPINK star.
This is not the first time their names have been connected. A few weeks ago, Parker followed JENNIE on Instagram, a notable move given his relatively limited following list. Around the same period, he expressed interest in collaborating with K-pop artists during an Apple Music interview, naming BLACKPINK as the group that first came to mind.
JENNIE’s own activity added to the intrigue. She previously shared multiple Instagram Stories featuring Tame Impala’s “Dracula,” a repetition that many viewed as intentional.
