KATSEYE’s rapid ascent shows no signs of slowing. On January 29, the group offered their clearest signal yet that a full-length debut is imminent. While attending Spotify’s 2026 Best New Artist Party in West Hollywood, member Daniela Avanzini teased that KATSEYE’s debut album is coming “very soon.” This was a brief but loaded comment that immediately fueled fan speculation.

Speaking during a red carpet interview, Daniela was asked whether the group had a release date in mind for their first album. She kept details tightly under wraps but did little to temper expectations. “That has to be kept a secret,” she said with a smile. “It’s gonna come out very soon.”

The timing feels deliberate. KATSEYE are preparing for a major moment this weekend. On Sunday, February 1, they will make their Grammy Awards debut. The performance marks another milestone in a breakout year that has already reshaped the group’s trajectory. In November 2025, KATSEYE earned two surprise nominations at the 2026 Grammys. They landed nods for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Gabriela.”

Momentum continued into the new year. During their Beautiful Chaos Tour, KATSEYE debuted “Internet Girl.” Later, they released the track officially on January 2. The song delivered their strongest commercial opening to date. It debuted at No. 13 on Spotify’s Daily Global chart and entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 29.
