“Katy Hudson came from a very genuine and endearing place,” Katy said, recalling the mindset she had when she released the Christian rock album under her birth name. “I still thought that heaven and hell were actual places and not in your mind. I had a lot of different beliefs at the time, I didn’t have the awareness.” Katy acknowledged that while she considers the album part of her journey, it’s not something she would revisit in her live performances. “I still count it as my album because I wrote it, but it’s not something that I would ever play live,” she shared.
