Kpop Demon Hunters has unveiled the deluxe version of its blockbuster soundtrack, adding two new fan-favorite songs alongside sing-along editions of its most popular hits. The expanded release arrives at a pivotal moment, as the album is currently in contention to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for the first time this week. The deluxe version features fresh material as well as stripped-back takes on the songs fans already love. Sing-along renditions of global smashes like “Golden” and “Soda Pop” headline the update, while a cappella and instrumental versions bring new dimensions to the music, giving listeners more ways to engage with the soundtrack.

The original Kpop Demon Hunters (Soundtrack from the Netflix Film) arrived on June 20, via Republic Records and quickly became a cultural phenomenon. Crafted by a powerhouse team including Danny Chung, Ido, Vince, Kush, Ejae, Jenna Andrews, Stephen Kirk, Lindgren, Mark Sonnenblick, and Daniel Rojas, the soundtrack balances pop precision with cinematic storytelling. Production credits feature some of the biggest names in K-pop and global pop—Teddy Park, 24, Dominsuk, Andrews, Kirk, Lindgren, and Ian Eisendrath—while Marcelo Zarvos composed the orchestral score.

Performances come courtesy of the film’s fictional idol groups Huntr/x and the Saja Boys. The soundtrack also integrated previously released tracks such as “Strategy” by Twice, “Love, Maybe” by MeloMance, and “Path” by Jokers.

The lead single “Takedown,” performed by Twice’s Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung, set the tone for the project, but it was “Golden” that became the breakout anthem. Sung by Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami as Huntr/x, “Golden” dominated charts worldwide, topping Spotify for over 50 consecutive days and holding the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for four weeks.
