The record was previously held by Ariana Grande, who peaked at 123.7 million. With this milestone, Lady Gaga reaffirms her lasting influence in the music industry.

This achievement comes as she prepares to release her highly anticipated seventh studio album, Mayhem, set to drop on March 7, 2025. The LP features fourteen tracks, including the hit singles “Die With a Smile,” “Disease,” and “Abracadabra.” While the latter has been winning over fans with its throwback to Gaga’s early sound, “Die With a Smile,” featuring Bruno Mars, continues to dominate Spotify’s daily global chart, extending its record as the longest-running No. 1 hit (123 days).
Gaga’s record-breaking streaming numbers are driven not only by her new music but also by her classic hits. Songs like “Shallow” and “Bad Romance” remain fan favorites, while the timeless “Poker Face” is making a resurgence, recently re-entering Spotify’s Daily Global Chart at No. 149.
