Chris Brown is extending his BROWN era with a surprise deluxe rollout that arrives just weeks after the original album’s release. BROWN: The Chocolate Edition is officially out now, adding 10 new tracks that expand the R&B superstar’s twelfth studio album into a broader sonic statement.
The release lands on June 19 via RCA Records and CBE, following a wave of anticipation sparked by Brown’s Instagram Stories reveal earlier this month. Each of the newly added tracks was marked with a fire emoji, signaling a high-energy continuation.
The original BROWN album, released on May 8, debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, securing Brown his 13th consecutive top-10 entry in the United States. Built around the acronym Break Rules Only When Necessary, the project featured a stacked lineup including Bryson Tiller, Fridayy, GloRilla, Leon Thomas, Lucky Daye, Sexyy Red, Tank, Vybz Kartel, and YoungBoy Never Broke Again.
Production on the core album came from an equally heavyweight roster, with contributions from Metro Boomin, Tay Keith, The Underdogs, Troy Taylor, Chrishan, and RoccStar.
BROWN: The Chocolate Edition arrives less than two months after the original project, and features collaborations with Wizkid, Tyga, and Ty Dolla $ign.
