Lady Gaga and Doechii have officially teamed up for their first collaboration, “Runway,” featured in the final trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2, released April 6. The high-energy track previews a club-driven sound, positioning itself as a key moment in the film’s soundtrack rollout.
Unveiled alongside the trailer, “Runway” arrives as a glossy, fashion-aligned anthem that underscores the sequel’s updated tone. The film, a follow-up to the 2006 original, brings back its central cast—Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci—while introducing new additions, including Gaga in an acting role filmed partly in Milan during her recent tour schedule.
Gaga’s involvement extends a decade-long pattern of high-profile soundtrack contributions. Her work on A Star Is Born yielded the Oscar-winning “Shallow,” while House of Gucci reinforced her connection to fashion-driven cinema. In 2025, she appeared in Wednesday Season 2, Part 2 as Rosaline Rotwood, with “The Dead Dance” reaching the Billboard Hot 100’s top 50 and a Tim Burton-directed video filmed on Mexico’s Island of the Dolls.
Doechii’s feature adds another high-profile entry to her recent run of collaborations. Over the past year, she has linked with Jennie on “ExtraL” and Katy Perry on “I’m His, He’s Mine.”
