Madonna has ignited excitement around her long-awaited new album Confessions on a Dance Floor Part 2. On November 25, the pop icon shared new photos from the studio, offering fans one of the clearest signs yet that her next era is well underway. In the images, Madonna is seen recording alongside producer Stuart Price, echoing the creative partnership that defined her 2005 classic. “The Stu with Stu… Confessions on a Dance Floor Part 2,” she captioned the post, instantly fueling speculation about the album’s direction and sound.

The update arrives only weeks after Madonna celebrated the 20th anniversary of Confessions on a Dance Floor with a newly released Twenty Years Edition, featuring remastered tracks, expanded mixes, and curated bonus material.

Released in 2005, the first Confessions marked a sharp departure from the political tone of American Life, embracing a seamless dance-floor narrative inspired by disco, electropop, and early club culture. Madonna recorded the project largely in Stuart Price’s home studio, crafting an album designed to play like a continuous DJ set. Confessions dominated global charts, topped 40 countries, and delivered hit singles like “Hung Up,” “Sorry,” and “Jump.” It also won the Grammy for Best Electronic/Dance Album.

Her most recent studio album, Madame X (2019), explored political themes and global influences, driven by her life in Lisbon.
