Mariah Carey has officially ushered in the holiday season in Las Vegas, launching her new residency Mariah Carey’s Christmastime in Las Vegas with a dazzling premiere at Dolby Live at Park MGM. Announced in mid-September, the limited-run production marks her first-ever Christmas residency on the Strip, following several years of nationwide holiday tours and her previous non-seasonal show, The Celebration of Mimi Live in Las Vegas. This new chapter places Carey exactly where fans expect her every December—at the center of a glittering, joy-filled spectacle built around her unmatched holiday legacy. The residency runs through December 13, with nine more shows scheduled in the coming days.
The show opened on Friday night and instantly transformed the venue into a theatrical winter wonderland. Carey delivered a setlist blending classic Christmas standards, modern holiday originals, and a handful of her most beloved hits. Fan-favorite moments included a smooth performance of “Fantasy” and a high-energy medley combining “Honey,” “Heartbreaker,” “Emotions,” “Make It Happen,” “Always Be My Baby,” and “Hero.” As expected, she closed the show with her culture-defining anthem “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
