Megan Thee Stallion’s new music is finally on the way. The Grammy-winning rapper shared a short but striking video, featuring herself in a floral-patterned bodysuit confidently walking before being joined by her boyfriend, NBA star Klay Thompson.
The clip, posted across her social media platforms, features a snippet of an unreleased track that has immediately set the internet ablaze. In the caption, Megan wrote: “I promise my next post about this song will be the release date.” The teasing message has fans buzzing with excitement, as it marks the strongest hint yet that her next single — and possibly a new project — is on the horizon.

This new tease comes amid a busy month for the Houston native. Earlier this week, she announced the return of her beloved Hottieween event, set for October 31 in Humble, Texas. The annual Halloween celebration will once again support the Pete & Thomas Foundation, Megan’s nonprofit dedicated to education and community aid.
Although Megan hasn’t dropped a new single since April’s “Whenever,” her social media activity suggests a fresh era is fast approaching. Over the summer, she fueled speculation after posting a freestyle over a viral remix of Total’s “Kissin’ You,” proving she hasn’t lost her sharp lyrical edge.
Her last full-length album, Megan (2024), marked a major milestone: her first independent release under her own label, Hot Girl Productions, in partnership with Warner Music Group. The album produced several hits, including “Cobra,” “Boa,” and the chart-topping “Hiss,” which became Megan’s first solo No. 1 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Global 200. Following the album’s success, she launched her first global headlining trek, the Hot Girl Summer Tour.
