Machine Gun Kelly publicly called out Yungblud after the British singer posted a video criticizing rising concert prices and arguing that live music has become “inaccessible” for younger fans. The exchange quickly exploded across social media, with MGK accusing his former collaborator of hypocrisy in a blunt Instagram comment that reignited attention around their once-close friendship.
Under Yungblud’s video promoting his upcoming BLUDFEST event, MGK wrote: “you cancelled a tour because you couldn’t sell tickets blamed it on mental health then got parazzi’d at Nobu the next day Pinocchio. and your actual tour tickets are still the same price as every other artist shut the f*ck up you silver spooned preachy wanker.”
The comment immediately spread across social media, especially given the pair’s history together. Machine Gun Kelly and Yungblud previously collaborated on several fan-favorite tracks during the late 2010s pop-punk resurgence, including 2019’s “I Think I’m OKAY” alongside Travis Barker, as well as “Body Bag” and “Acting Like That.”
Yungblud’s original video centered around the growing cost of attending concerts. In the clip, he argued that live music has become “completely unaffordable” for a large portion of younger audiences and positioned BLUDFEST as a cheaper alternative to traditional festival pricing.
MGK’s criticism appears tied to the cancellation of Yungblud’s remaining 2025 tour dates. Back in November 2025, Yungblud announced he would step away from touring after medical testing reportedly revealed vocal issues and concerning bloodwork results. At the time, he framed the decision as necessary for his health and recovery.
