Miley Cyrus has expanded the release of Bass Persuades with two new limited editions, giving fans the option to hear the album in instrumental and a cappella formats. Both versions are available exclusively through iTunes for a limited time as Cyrus continues the campaign around her 10th studio album.
The additional editions arrive as Bass Persuades heads toward its first Billboard 200 chart result. Early estimates from Nora Music project approximately 46,000 units in the U.S. for the album’s opening week, putting Cyrus on track for a potential Top 10 debut.

The instrumental and a cappella releases add another collectible component to the album campaign while giving listeners alternate versions of all 10 tracks. Their limited availability through iTunes also creates another sales opportunity during the album’s opening chart window, potentially adding to its overall first-week activity.
If current projections hold, Bass Persuades would become Miley Cyrus’ 16th album to debut inside the Billboard 200 Top 10. Her previous two studio albums, Something Beautiful and Endless Summer Vacation, opened at No. 4 and No. 3, respectively, continuing a strong run of chart performances across her catalog.
Notably, Bass Persuades opened with 6.2 million Spotify streams during its first full day on September 18. That figure sits below the first-day streaming totals of Cyrus’ previous two studio albums, with Endless Summer Vacation generating roughly 30 million streams in its first day in March 2023 and Something Beautiful reaching 8.5 million in May 2025.
Individual songs from the new album have also made appearances on Spotify’s Daily Global chart. “Let’s Get Married” debuted at No. 121 with 1.422 million release-day streams, while “Bass Persuades” returned at No. 179 with 1.233 million. The title track previously reached No. 23 after collecting 2.46 million streams following its September 3 release.
The album itself marks several changes for Miley Cyrus. Bass Persuades is her 10th studio album, her first project for Atlantic Records after leaving Columbia Records and the first release promoted under the mononym MILEY. Across its 10 tracks, the project moves through dance-pop, romantic pop and atmospheric sounds, with Cyrus connecting the material to her relationship with fiancé Maxx Morando and a changing sense of self-love.
