Nicki Minaj has made streaming history once again. The rap icon has officially become the first female rapper in Spotify history to surpass 40 billion streams across all credits, cementing her as one of the most influential and enduring artists of the digital era.

The milestone reflects Minaj’s two decades of dominance, blending her solo success with blockbuster collaborations. Among her most streamed tracks are global anthems like Ariana Grande’s “Side to Side” (1.68 billion streams) and Karol G’s “Tusa” (1.64 billion streams), both of which helped expand her reach far beyond rap into international pop and Latin markets.

On her own, Minaj continues to deliver billion-stream classics. Her hits “Starships” and “Super Bass” both sit above the billion mark, standing as pillars of 2010s pop-rap and remaining staples of playlists worldwide. In total, she now boasts seven tracks with more than 1 billion streams each.

Her albums are equally impactful on Spotify. The Pinkprint leads the way with over 3.6 billion streams, while every one of her projects—from her 2010 debut Pink Friday through 2018’s Queen—has crossed the billion-stream threshold. This consistency across more than a decade highlights Minaj’s ability to stay relevant and innovative while cultivating a loyal global fan base, known as the Barbz.
