Serving as the sequel to her debut album, Nicki Minaj released Pink Friday 2 in December 2023 after a five-year wait since her previous album Queen in 2018. Despite the lengthy hiatus, anticipation for the new album quickly turned into excitement, propelling it to a number one debut on the Billboard 200. In its first week, Pink Friday 2 moved 228,000 units, with the vinyl release of the album also achieving significant success. Notably, it became the best-selling vinyl album in the first week for a female rapper in history.
In support of the album, Minaj embarked on the Pink Friday 2 World Tour last March 1st. The tour showcases songs not only from her latest album but also includes fan-favorite hits like “Chun-Li” and “Super Bass.” With a total of 59 dates across North America and Europe, the Pink Friday 2 Tour has been met with enthusiasm from fans. The next show is scheduled for tomorrow night at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina.
