Nicki Minaj is back in full album mode — and she’s making sure fans know it. On Friday (Nov. 7), the rap icon took to X (formerly Twitter) to tease the tracklist of her highly anticipated upcoming album, due March 27, 2026. Minaj revealed that she’s already deep into the creative process, sharing that she’s listed 14 of her favorite tracks so far — and still has months left to create even more.

About an hour ago, I decided to start listing my ‘faves’ so far,” she wrote. “I kid you not, I’m now on the 14th track and still haven’t played all my songs… with almost 5 more months left to create even MORE magic. Like am I dreaming??? Barbz, what is happening??? BARBZ!!!! I’m so grateful.”

The post quickly sent social media into a frenzy, with fans speculating about song titles and potential collaborations. While the rapper didn’t reveal any names, the post’s tone — equal parts disbelief and joy — confirmed what her fans, Barbz, have long hoped for: Nicki Minaj’s next era will be bigger, bolder, and more personal than ever.

This latest update comes just weeks after Minaj described the forthcoming record as “the transformational album I never saw coming.” She revealed that the project has taken on a deeply emotional direction, writing, “I honestly thought I’d be writing from a similar place, but that’s just not possible anymore. This is a diff glow.”

After deactivating her Instagram in October amid social media controversies and public scrutiny, the rapper remained active on X. She introduced fans to what she called her “Billionaire Barbie era.”

Recently, Minaj made headlines by confirming that the upcoming album — her first since Pink Friday 2 (2023) — will feature only new material. “No scraps on the classic,” she wrote in response to a fan asking about unreleased songs. “The scraps have to come out in other ways, chi. The classic must only be perfection.”
