Olivia Rodrigo’s new album is showing no signs of slowing down. Three weeks after its release, You Seem Pretty Sad For a Girl So In Love remains the most-streamed album on the Weekly Global Spotify Chart, extending its perfect run at No. 1 since debuting on June 13.
Released on June 13, the project debuted with an enormous 401.7 million Spotify streams worldwide during its first week, setting a new personal best for Rodrigo and surpassing the opening-week performance of SOUR, which launched with 370.5 million streams in 2021. The total also ranks as the fifth-biggest opening week ever recorded by a female artist on the platform, immediately establishing the album as one of the year’s defining releases.
Its momentum has remained remarkably consistent. Even after three weeks, the record continues to outperform every other album globally.
You Seem Pretty Sad For a Girl So In Love also maintains a commanding presence on the Weekly Global Spotify Songs Chart. Although “Stupid Song” slips from the summit after spending its first three two at No. 1, it still ranks No. 5 with 27.2 million weekly streams. “The Cure” follows at No. 9 with 24 million streams, while “Drop Dead” lands at No. 10 with 23.1 million. “Honeybee” rounds out the album’s top performers at No. 15 after collecting another 19.9 million streams worldwide.
Competition across Spotify remains intense. Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” returns to No. 1 on the Weekly Global Songs Chart with more than 30.1 million streams, while Shakira and Burna Boy’s FIFA World Cup anthem “Dai Dai” climbs to a new peak of No. 2 with 29.6 million streams after previously topping the Daily Global Spotify Chart during the tournament.
