RAYE Reading Festival 2026 Setlist: Every Song She Performed

RAYE delivered her first-ever Reading Festival headline performance on Saturday night (August 29), taking The Grid at Little John’s Farm at 10:05 p.m. after Dave’s set. The South London singer turned the slot into a full-scale showcase of her live musicianship, bringing together material from My 21st Century Blues and her 2026 UK No. 1 album This Music May Contain Hope.

Opening with her breakthrough hit “Escapism.,” RAYE immediately had the Reading crowd singing along. The performance quickly expanded beyond the song’s original production, with a full band, horn section and strings giving the set the orchestral weight that has become central to her current era.

From there, she moved into “Beware…The South London Lover Boy,” “Skin & Bones” and “Worth It” before bringing the theatrical “The WhatsApp Shakespeare” to the festival stage. The song, one of the standout moments from This Music May Contain Hope, was followed by “Oscar Winning Tears.”

A particularly celebratory moment arrived with “Joy,” when RAYE was joined by her sisters Amma and Absolutely. The singer ultimately brought the night to a close with “Where Is My Husband?,” her 2026 No. 1 hit and one of the biggest songs from This Music May Contain Hope.

The Reading headline slot comes during a career year that has pushed RAYE to another level. This Music May Contain Hope reached No. 1 in the UK following its release in March, while “Where Is My Husband!” also topped the UK singles chart. She has spent much of 2026 touring internationally, including arena performances and opening dates for Bruno Mars.
