Rihanna was asked what fans can expect from her new music and simply answered that “It’s gonna be amazing, It has to be — that is the only reason it’s not out yet…” The pop star also mentioned her desire to showcase her evolution and “truly where I am at.”

Just a few weeks ago, Rihanna told Interview Magazine that she has a lot of “visual ideas” but not the right music for them yet. RiRi’s latest album, “Anti,” dates back to 2016, meaning that over eight years have passed since she last released new material. Two years ago, the 36-year-old superstar contributed to the Black Panther soundtrack, recording the hit single “Lift Me Up” and “Born Again.”

Now, after more than eight years, “R9” seems to be slowly getting closer.
