The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction for 2023 is set to take place tonight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, beginning at 8:00 p.m. The event will be broadcast live on Disney+.
The Inductees
This year, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame welcomes 13 performers into its illustrious ranks. The honored inductees are Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine, and The Spinners.
The prestigious Ahmet Ertegun Award, recognizing non-performers such as songwriters and producers, will be presented to Don Cornelius, the visionary creator of the iconic music show Soul Train.
Dj Kool Herc and Link Wray have received well-deserved inductions into the category of Musical Influence. In addition, the Award for Musical Excellence will be bestowed upon Chaka Khan, AI Kooper, and Bernie Taupin.
Performers and Presenters
While the official lineup of performers and presenters has not been disclosed by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, the only confirmed performers are Olivia Rodrigo and the legendary Stevie Nicks. Furthermore, numerous other acclaimed artists are slated to participate in the ceremony as special guests. Among them are music icons like Elton John, Adam Levine, Sia, Carrie Underwood, Miguel, and LL Cool J.
