Role Model gave fans a night to remember in London — with an unexpected guest who turned the concert into an instant viral moment. On November 4, during the second of two sold-out shows at the Eventim Apollo, the indie pop singer (real name Tucker Harrington Pillsbury) brought out none other than Niall Horan to join him as the latest “Sally” for his hit song “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out.

The crowd erupted as the former One Direction member walked onstage, grinning as he was handed the signature “Sally” sash — a running gag in Role Model’s live shows.

The “Sally” segment has become one of the defining features of Role Model’s No Place Like world tour. Introduced in early 2025, the bit started as a spontaneous fan interaction but soon evolved into a full-fledged running gag. During each concert, the singer invites a surprise guest — or occasionally a fan — to embody “Sally,” a character representing chaotic freedom and carefree energy during the song’s performance.

Over the months, Role Model has “crowned” a growing list of honorary Sallies, including Emma Chamberlain, Charli XCX, and even Benson Boone, each adding their own flair to the moment. The segment, inspired by ‘90s talk-show absurdity and fan unpredictability, has become a hallmark of Role Model’s charm: playful, unfiltered, and deeply connected to the crowd.
