Rosalía has officially entered a new chapter. The Spanish superstar has released “Berghain,” the powerful lead single from her upcoming album Lux, out November 7. The song, which features Björk and Yves Tumor, marks Rosalía’s long-awaited return to solo work since Motomami (2022).
“Berghain” marks the first step of the more sober, spiritual and orchestral aesthetic of Lux. Its name nods to Berlin’s legendary nightclub, known for pushing boundaries and embracing artistic extremes.

The single’s release follows a week of anticipation after Rosalía announced Lux via simultaneous livestreams on TikTok and Instagram. The broadcasts, streamed to hundreds of thousands of viewers, included snippets of new material and a visual teaser that hinted at the album’s ethereal concept. Later that evening, she drew a massive crowd in Madrid’s Callao Square, unveiling the minimalist artwork that symbolizes clarity, rebirth, and transcendence.
Lux will serve as Rosalía’s fourth studio album and her most ambitious to date. The 18-track project is structured in four movements, exploring themes of spirituality, transformation, desire, and divinity.
The record will feature an impressive lineup of collaborators, including Björk, Carminho, Estrella Morente, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Yahritza, and Yves Tumor. While the digital version will include 15 tracks, the vinyl edition will offer three exclusive songs.
Rosalía’s return has been highly anticipated. Her last album, Motomami, became a cultural phenomenon upon its release in 2022. It won Album of the Year at the Latin Grammys, topped multiple critics’ lists, and remains the most acclaimed album of 2022 on Metacritic. Songs like “La Fama” (with The Weeknd), “Saoko,” and “Despechá” cemented her as one of the most innovative voices in global pop, seamlessly fusing reggaetón, flamenco, and avant-garde experimentation. The Motomami World Tour that followed expanded her reach across continents, blending live art, choreography, and performance in a format that defied traditional pop staging. With Lux, Rosalía now appears ready to ascend to new creative heights.
“Berghain” is available now on all streaming platforms.
