The 2025 MAMA Awards marked a defining moment for ROSÉ and JENNIE. While both artists remain fully immersed in the Asian leg of BLACKPINK’s blockbuster Deadline World Tour, their influence extended far beyond the stage. ROSÉ secured four major wins, emerging as one of the night’s most celebrated artists and the most-awarded female soloist of the night. Her chart-dominating single “APT.” claimed the prestigious Song of the Year (Daesang).

JENNIE also delivered a strong showing, earning Best Dance Performance – Female Solo for the viral hit “Like JENNIE” and Best Music Video for the visually striking “Zen.” These achievements add another milestone to a landmark year shaped by the acclaim of Ruby, her debut solo studio album. Its commercial impact matched its critical success, breaking sales records for a female K-pop soloist and entering the top ten in major markets worldwide, including the United States and Australia.

ROSÉ’s momentum has been equally formidable. Her debut studio album Rosie continues to receive strong acclaim. It scored a top-three debut on the Billboard 200—the highest for a K-pop female soloist—and produced multiple global hits. Beyond “APT.” the album features “Toxic Till The End,” which also won the MAMA for Best Vocal Performance – Solo.

With their latest wins, ROSÉ and JENNIE now tie as the most-awarded third-generation female soloists in MAMA Awards history, each holding six trophies.
