RUSH are bringing their music to Las Vegas’ Sphere in May 2027, with Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson announcing a five-date residency titled “Elevate From the Norm.” The performances, scheduled for May 21, 23, 26, 28 and 30, will celebrate the band’s catalogue and legacy while paying tribute to late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart.
Each concert will feature fan favorites and greatest hits spanning RUSH’s career, with the group also planning to perform two of its most celebrated albums in full: 2112 and Moving Pictures. Lee revealed that the band is developing new visual concepts specifically for Sphere, a venue he believes is particularly suited to the ambitious presentation that has long been part of RUSH’s live shows.

“When I first heard of Sphere, I thought to myself, ‘wow, what a shame that RUSH is no longer touring, because this venue sounds tailor made for the kind of visual attitude with which we have always designed our shows,’” Lee said. He added that the band is now working to expand its touring concepts and create a production that takes advantage of the venue’s technology. “We are presently working hard to expand our touring concepts and concoct some new madness to suit this incredible venue,” he continued.
RUSH is currently traveling on their Fifty Something tour, which has sold more than 1 million tickets across Canada, the United States, Mexico, South America, Europe and the UK. For both the ongoing tour and the Sphere performances, Lee and Lifeson are joined by German drummer, composer and producer Anika Nilles, alongside keyboardist Loren Gold.
Tickets will be available through several presale opportunities. RUSH Backstage and newsletter subscribers can access VIP and travel packages during an exclusive two-hour window beginning Friday, November 6, at 10 a.m. PT.
