“You just watch her, like, walk in a room, and it’s very easy to understand that she’s so composed, she’s graceful, she’s gracious,” Sabrina said of the “Fortnight” singer. “I wouldn’t say it’s, like, a verbal thing as much as just, like, she’s very supportive of me and knows who I am as a person. So I’m grateful for that.”
Sabrina explained that Taylor’s influence goes beyond words. While Taylor hasn’t given her specific advice on navigating the music industry, Sabrina says Taylor’s confidence and composure have taught her invaluable lessons. She has come to realize that handling fame is a personal journey, one without a one-size-fits-all solution. “If we’re talking about how to deal with it all, I think everyone has such an individual, unique experience that there’s no blanket statement or advice on how to not let it rattle you,” Sabrina reflected.
The friendship between the two artists began when Sabrina opened for The Eras Tour in South America, and it’s not the first time the emails i can’t send singer has shown appreciation for her mentor. In a recent interview with Variety, Sabrina hailed Taylor as a “rock star,” saying, “She’s just such a gangster with all of it—no matter what people are saying, everything I’ve ever seen her tackle, she’s done so with grace.” She also added, “She’s one of my best friends, and we grab dinner or text and catch up like you would with your best friend.”
