Selena Gomez is teasing new music again — and fans are convinced another major moment is on the way. On Instagram, the pop superstar posted a sleek behind-the-scenes photo with the caption: “Another music video, another song.” The cryptic update sent her followers into a frenzy, as many believe she’s referring to a visual for her upcoming track “In the Dark” from the Nobody Wants This Season 2 soundtrack.

The teaser follows a banner year for Gomez, who earlier in 2025 released a joint studio album with her husband, producer Benny Blanco, titled I Said I Love You First. The project became a career milestone for both artists, debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and securing the biggest first-week sales of their careers. The album also made history as the first by a real-life couple to top the Vinyl Albums chart.
Featuring contributions from Gracie Abrams, the Marías, Tainy, and J Balvin, as well as writing and production from Charli XCX and Finneas, I Said I Love You First blended lush pop production with heartfelt songwriting. The rollout included several singles, such as “Scared of Loving You,” “Call Me When You Break Up” (feat. Gracie Abrams), “Sunset Blvd,” and “Younger and Hotter Than Me.”
