Sombr is taking his breakout year on the road. Just days after his Coachella debut, the rising star announced the You Are The Reason Tour, a multi-city run set to begin on July 22 in Mexico City with a rotating lineup of special guests.
Presale tickets open April 14 at 10 a.m. local time, followed by general onsale on April 17 at the same hour. Fans are being directed to sign up through his official channels to access early codes. In a message shared alongside the announcement, he wrote: “I’m beyond thrilled to see your faces. This will be a very special show. Love you so much! I’ll see you soon.”
Momentum behind the tour builds directly from his April 11 performance at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2026, where he delivered a high-energy sunset set at the Outdoor Theatre stage. A defining moment came when Billy Corgan joined him onstage for a cover of “1979,” bridging generations of alternative music in real time. The set also introduced “Potential,” an unreleased track that hints at his next phase.
Special guests across select dates include Dove Cameron, The Last Dinner Party, The Hellp, and Hannah Jadagu.
The announcement caps a rapid 12-month ascent. Viral singles “Back to Friends” and “Undressed” drove early traction in 2025, each gaining momentum on TikTok before crossing into streaming platforms at scale. Follow-up track “12 to 12” extended that reach, while debut album I Barely Know Her consolidated his arrival with cohesive songwriting and chart visibility. Industry recognition followed quickly, including a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and appearances on Saturday Night Live and the MTV Video Music Awards, where he secured Best Alternative.
Earlier this year, Sombr kicked off the new era with another global hit: “Homewrecker.”
