Dove Cameron has sparked fresh tour speculation after confirming she will return to the road this fall as the opening act for a yet-to-be-announced headliner. The singer shared the news during a recent appearance on Good Morning America, telling viewers: “In the fall, I’m opening for someone that I’m really excited about. I’m also working on my own tour.”

The comment was brief, but it was enough to ignite conversation across fan communities. Cameron did not reveal the artist’s name, nor did she offer clues about genre or geography. Still, the timing provides a framework. The fall touring season begins September 22, and several major acts are scheduled to be on the road in North America during that window.

This would not be Cameron’s first time opening for a global star. In summer 2025, she joined Dua Lipa on select European dates of the Radical Optimism Tour. Those appearances included high-profile stadium shows at Wembley Stadium, Anfield, and Aviva Stadium. The run introduced her to massive crowds and marked a notable step forward in her live trajectory.

So who could the mystery artist be this time?

The first name that comes to mind is Doja Cat. The rapper’s Tour Ma Vie World Tour is set to enter its final North American leg from October 1 through early December. The timing aligns with Cameron’s “fall” clue, and the demographic crossover makes sense. Cameron’s dark pop aesthetic could translate effectively in arenas already primed for theatrical production. Notably, supporting acts for the U.S. dates have not yet been announced, leaving room for speculation.

Another possibility is Harry Styles, who is preparing to continue his Together, Together Tour with a New York residency at Madison Square Garden. However, Styles has already confirmed his supporting acts, including Jamie xx for September. While surprise additions are not impossible, the current lineup appears locked.

Some fans initially speculated about Ariana Grande or Sabrina Carpenter. Yet Grande’s Eternal Sunshine Tour is expected to wrap in early September, just before the official start of fall. Carpenter, meanwhile, concluded her Short n’ Sweet Tour in late 2025 and has not announced new dates. At this stage, both scenarios seem unlikely.

Beyond those names, the touring calendar remains fluid. Not all fall runs have been formally unveiled, and major album cycles often precede late-year tour announcements. Artists such as Olivia Rodrigo, Lana Del Rey, Tyla, and Megan Thee Stallion are widely expected to release new material within the broader cycle. Whether that translates into a 2026 fall tour remains to be seen.
