“I Knew It, I Knew You” becomes Swift’s first Australian No. 1 of 2026 and continues a streak that has spanned nearly two decades. Her chart-topping journey began with “Love Story” in 2009 before expanding through multiple eras, including “Shake It Off” and “Blank Space” in 2014, “Bad Blood” in 2015, “Look What You Made Me Do” in 2017, “Cardigan” and “Willow” in 2020, “All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)” in 2021, “Anti-Hero” in 2022, “Is It Over Now? (Taylor’s Version)” in 2023, “Cruel Summer” and “Fortnight” in 2024, and “The Fate of Ophelia” in 2025.

Across those 14 chart-toppers, Swift has now accumulated 35 weeks at No. 1 on the Australian Singles Chart.

The latest achievement places her alongside Elvis Presley on the all-time leaderboard with 14 No. 1 hits. Only The Beatles remain ahead with 26 chart-toppers.

Evanescence opens at No. 2 with Sanctuary, earning the band’s sixth consecutive top 10 album in Australia. Meanwhile, Malcolm Todd scores the highest-charting release of his career as Do That Again arrives at No. 3.
