Taylor Swift continues her global domination with The Life of a Showgirl, which has debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, marking her 14th chart-topping album in Australia.

According to the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA), The Life of a Showgirl storms straight to the top, bringing Taylor’s total number of weeks at No. 1 to 69. She now ranks second among all artists for the most No. 1 albums since the ARIA charts began in 1983—just behind Australian rock icon Jimmy Barnes, who has achieved 16 solo No. 1s, plus six more with Cold Chisel.

Of her entire catalog, only two albums have failed to reach No. 1 — her 2006 self-titled debut, which peaked at No. 33, and 2008’s Fearless, which reached No. 2. However, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) claimed the top spot in 2021. Notably, Taylor has now spent 498 total weeks in the ARIA Top 10, with Red remaining her longest-charting album (95 weeks). Her 2022 album Midnights still holds the record for her longest run at No. 1 in Australia, with an impressive 16 weeks at the summit.

On the ARIA Singles Chart, the superstar also makes history, becoming the first artist to claim the entire Top 12 positions simultaneously. Leading the charge is her latest hit “The Fate of Ophelia”, which lands at No. 1, marking her 13th Australian chart-topper. The track follows “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone, which spent two weeks at No. 1 in 2024.

This week’s chart also brings another highlight for Taylor’s collaborator Sabrina Carpenter, whose duet on the album’s title track “The Life of a Showgirl” debuts at No. 6, giving h her seventh Top 10 hit in Australia.
