Taylor Swift has confirmed she has no plans to launch another tour anytime soon, leaving fans both relieved for her well-being and curious about what comes next. Speaking in a new interview on BBC Radio 1, Swift was candid about her current exhaustion after wrapping her historic Eras Tour in late 2024, the highest-grossing tour of all time. “I’m so tired, like, when I think about doing it again,” Swift admitted. “I want to do it really well, again.”

The comments come as Swift’s twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, continues to dominate worldwide. The record, released October 3, has already topped iTunes and Apple Music charts and set a new Spotify record for 2025 with 140 million opening-day streams (partial day). Despite fans hoping for a new era of live shows, Taylor appears focused on rest and creative renewal rather than another grueling stadium run.

Her decision marks a sharp contrast to the unprecedented success of the Eras Tour. Running from March 2023 through December 2024, the career-spanning trek broke every major touring record, grossing over $2 billion across 149 shows in 51 cities on five continents. The Eras Tour was a cultural phenomenon, sparking global ticket demand, boosting local economies, and even inspiring political debates over ticketing reform. The tour was also immortalized in the critically acclaimed Eras Tour concert film and a massive photo book.
