Taylor Swift is giving Swifties a last-minute holiday surprise. The global pop icon has unveiled a brand-new 7-inch Portofino orange glitter vinyl edition of her chart-dominating single “The Fate of Ophelia,” offering fans a collectible release just in time for Christmas.
Announced via Swift’s official channels, the limited-edition vinyl is available exclusively in the U.S. for $13 and will be sold for just 24 hours or while supplies last. Orders close on December 19 at 10:59 a.m. ET, with shipping scheduled to begin on January 7. Described as a “new glitter vinyl that will have you dancing through the lightning strikes,” the release instantly sparked excitement across Swifties.
The vinyl arrives as “The Fate of Ophelia” continues its historic run on streaming platforms. Despite the annual holiday takeover by Christmas classics, the song has now spent a 70th day at No. 1 on Spotify’s Daily Global Chart, placing it among the longest-running female-led songs at the summit in the platform’s history.
Released on October 3, “The Fate of Ophelia” serves as the lead single from Swift’s twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. Commercially, the song has shattered records. It debuted with the most streams in a single day and week in Spotify history, topped the Billboard Global 200, and reached No. 1 in more than 26 countries. In the U.S., it spent eight weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100.
