Taylor Swift has unveiled four back covers of her upcoming re-recorded version of her fifth studio album, ‘1989.’ The album will feature five vault tracks: ‘SLUT!,’ ‘Is It Over Now?,’ ‘Say Don’t Go,’ ‘Now That We Don’t Talk,’ and ‘Suburban Legends.’
‘1989 (Taylor’s Version),’ which was announced during the final Los Angeles concert of The Eras Tour, follows ‘Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)’ as her second album released this year. Two songs from the album have already been released. ‘Wildest Dream (Taylor’s Version)’ surprised fans two years ago after a snippet was featured in the trailer for the 2021 animated film ‘Spirit Untamed.’ The second single, ‘This Love (Taylor’s Version),’ was released in 2022.
On September 19, Google Search introduced a feature designed to help users uncover the track titles from Taylor Swift’s “From the Vault” collection. When users searched for “Taylor Swift,” an animated blue vault appeared, providing access to 89 word puzzles, some with hints and some without. The official track title unveiling was set to take place after 33 million puzzles had been solved globally. Despite the feature crashing shortly after its launch, it quickly surpassed the 33 million milestone the following day, revealing four of the five vault track titles: ‘Is It Over Now?,’ ‘Now That We Don’t Talk,’ ‘Say Don’t Go,’ and ‘Suburban Legends.’
‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ is scheduled for release on October 27.
