After hours of delays and mounting fan speculation, Kanye West has officially released BULLY (Deluxe), delivering a significantly updated version of one of 2026’s most discussed hip-hop albums. Beyond adding new material, the expanded edition revisits several aspects of the original project, including vocal performances, mixing, mastering, and guest features.
The deluxe edition arrived on June 19, following weeks of teasing from Ye and his team. While fans initially expected the project to appear at midnight, the rollout followed a familiar Kanye pattern, with the album landing several hours after its announced release window.
One of the biggest additions is “OK,” a new collaboration with Don Toliver that had been rumored since attendees heard it at a SoFi Stadium after-party in April. The song finally receives an official release after months of anticipation.
Another notable addition comes in the form of “Mission Control,” a long-circulating fan favorite that had previously leaked online. The track finally arrives in official form. Elsewhere, Ye has reworked “I CAN’T WAIT,” which now features Lauryn Hill. The updated version introduces her contribution to the song’s vocal framework.
The changes extend far beyond new songs and guest appearances. According to details accompanying the project, BULLY (Deluxe) includes entirely new mixing and mastering throughout the album. Several tracks feature noticeably clearer drum patterns, sharper vocal placement, and a more balanced sonic presentation compared to the March release.
Perhaps the most significant update involves the album’s vocals. One of the primary criticisms surrounding the original BULLY centered on Ye’s use of AI-assisted vocal processing. With the deluxe edition, the majority of those performances have reportedly been re-recorded using fresh vocals from West himself. Tracks such as “This One Here” received substantial revisions.
The release marks another chapter in the commercial success of the BULLY era. Originally released on March 28 through YZY and Gamma, the album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 152,000 equivalent album units. Sixteen of its eighteen tracks entered the Billboard Hot 100 during release week, making it one of West’s strongest chart launches of the decade.
Alongside the music, BULLY (Deluxe) arrives with a new cover image, a music video for “KING” directed by Bianca Censori, and additional visualizers.
