October 2025 is shaping up to be one of the busiest months of the year for music fans. From stadium-ready pop to experimental R&B and psychedelic rock, some of the biggest names in the industry are preparing to release new projects. Here are the ten most anticipated albums dropping this month.

Bryson Tiller — Solace & The Vices (October 2)
Bryson Tiller is closing out a two-part story. The Vices, released in August, leaned into his rap side with features from Rick Ross, T-Pain, Bun B, and more. Now, with Solace, he’s turning inward, offering a reflective, introspective counterbalance. Together, the two projects form Solace & The Vices, showcasing both sides of Tiller’s artistry.
Taylor Swift — The Life of a Showgirl (October 3)
Taylor Swift’s twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Arriving without any advance singles, the 12-track album includes a collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter on the title track. Swift has confirmed there will be no deluxe editions this time, making this her most concise release in years. Khalid — After the Sun Goes Down (October 10)
Khalid is ushering in a new chapter with After the Sun Goes Down, a 16-track album exploring love, openness, and self-discovery. Released via Right Hand Music Group/RCA Records, it’s powered by singles “In Plain Sight” and “Out of Body.”
Tame Impala — Deadbeat (October 17)
Kevin Parker returns with Deadbeat, the first Tame Impala album in five years. Known for reshaping modern psychedelia, Parker offers 12 new tracks, including the already-released singles “End of Summer” and “Loser.”
Ty Dolla $ign — Tycoon (October 17)
Originally teased under different titles, Ty Dolla $ign’s sixth studio album Tycoon doubles as the fourth installment of his Beach House series. Production began as far back as 2020, paused for his collaborative Vultures project with Kanye West, and has now culminated in what may be his most ambitious solo record yet.
Miguel — CAOS (October 23)
On his 40th birthday, Miguel delivers his most daring project to date. CAOS, eight years in the making, is a fearless, genre-defying record built on themes of destruction, rebirth, and transformation. The title track, shared directly with fans through his S1C.LA platform, opens with a raw Spanish monologue before shifting into experimental production.
Demi Lovato — It’s Not That Deep (October 24)
Demi Lovato heads back to the dance floor with It’s Not That Deep, her ninth studio album. A vibrant shift from the rock-heavy Holy Fvck and Revamped, the project features high-energy singles “Fast” and “Here All Night.” It’s a return to carefree pop for Lovato—an unapologetic embrace of fun.
Roddy Ricch — The Navy Album (October 24)
Roddy Ricch drops his third studio album The Navy Album via Atlantic Records and Bird Vision Entertainment. Terrace Martin not only contributes production but also appears on the single “Lonely Road.” With additional singles like “Survivor’s Remorse,” the record promises to blend Roddy’s melodic flow with forward-thinking production.
Daniel Caesar — Son of Spergy (October 24)
Daniel Caesar continues to push boundaries with Son of Spergy, his newest album on Republic Records. The project incorporates personal and spiritual themes, fusing his Jamaican heritage with gospel-inspired lyrics. The album features the singles “Have a Baby (With Me)” and “Call On Me,” giving a first glimpse into Caesar’s evolving sound.
Florence + The Machine — Everybody Scream (October 31)
Closing the month on Halloween, Florence + The Machine delivers Everybody Scream. The 12-track album arrives three years after Dance Fever and embraces the theatrical side of Florence Welch. Its release date alone hints at an album filled with haunting energy, perfectly timed for October’s final night.
