Madison Beer and Justin Herbert are officially taking the next step in their relationship. The singer announced her engagement to the Los Angeles Chargers quarterback on Instagram, sharing a series of romantic photos that revealed her diamond ring and celebrating the milestone with a simple caption: “meet my fiancé.”
The announcement featured four intimate images of the couple, including moments of them kissing, embracing and smiling together. Madison Beer also showcased the engagement ring on her left hand, marking a new chapter nearly one year after the pair first sparked dating rumors.
Beer and Herbert first attracted public attention in August 2025, when the NFL star was spotted on the set of one of Beer’s music video or photo shoots in Los Angeles. The two were photographed talking and laughing between takes before leaving together, with additional sightings days later showing them heading to a friend’s home in Redondo Beach.
Their relationship became increasingly public throughout the fall. In September 2025, the couple was photographed holding hands during casual outings, before cameras captured them sharing multiple kisses on the sidelines of SoFi Stadium ahead of the Chargers’ game against the Washington Commanders in October 2025. From there, Madison Beer and Justin Herbert continued appearing together at Lakers games, a World Series matchup, Chargers Halloween events and other public appearances.
Herbert, who has historically kept his personal life private, began opening up about the relationship in March 2026. For Beer’s birthday, the quarterback shared Instagram Story tributes calling her “my favorite person of all time” and saying she had “changed my life forever,” adding that he was “the luckiest guy alive.” Beer responded with her own message, describing Herbert as her “dream come true.”
The couple later made their relationship more official on social media in April 2026, when Herbert posted a photo of the two together with the caption “My world.” Around the same period, he appeared alongside Madison Beer in the music video for “lovergirl,” a track from her Locket Deluxe project. The visual featured the pair sharing beach moments, taking photos in a photobooth and playing cards together.
Beer had previously spoken about wanting a traditional engagement ring while discussing her future relationship goals, saying she was “basic with certain things” when it came to certain romantic traditions. She has also praised Herbert’s support throughout her career, including his presence during her Locket Tour and major performances such as her Kia Forum headline show.
