Cardi B is wasting no time keeping her momentum alive. Just days after teasing unreleased music from the Dominican Republic, the Grammy-winning rapper has officially announced her new single “AH HA,” confirming that it will arrive this Friday, July 31.

The announcement gives fans the first confirmed release from Cardi B’s next musical chapter following a week of growing speculation.

Earlier this week, Cardi previewed new music through a 44-second beachside video filmed during a tropical getaway in the Dominican Republic. Wearing a bikini featuring the Dominican Republic flag, she appeared across white-sand beaches, wooden piers, and oceanfront scenery while an unreleased song played in the background. Although she did not identify the track at the time, the teaser quickly sparked fan theories that a new song announcement was imminent.

Now, “AH HA” has officially become that next step. The song is scheduled to drop on July 31, marking Cardi’s latest solo release as she prepares the rollout for CB3, her third album.

The upcoming album has been in the works throughout 2026. Earlier this year, Cardi reassured fans that her third studio effort was progressing during a livestream recorded while traveling to Sacramento. “Ready? I’m ready,” she said before teasing, “Before the year ends? Another one. Album three coming up.”

She has also been vocal about her ambitions beyond the studio. During her Little Miss Drama Tour, Cardi explained that the experience taught her valuable lessons about arena production, revealing plans to mount an even larger global trek in support of her next album. “On my next tour with my next album, I’m going to perform for five months… I’m going to have this s**t to the T,” she told fans, promising an expanded live production.

Those comments followed the success of the Little Miss Drama Tour, which supported her 2025 album Am I the Drama?. The 35-date arena run launched on Feb. 11, 2026, in Palm Desert, California, before concluding on April 18 in Atlanta. The tour sold approximately 453,000 tickets and grossed $70 million, becoming one of the biggest commercial achievements of Cardi’s career.
