The Weeknd has once again set the internet in motion. A cryptic teaser shared on his Instagram has ignited fresh speculation — and this time, fans are convinced they spotted Ariana Grande hidden in plain sight.

The short, cinematic clip is dark and atmospheric, built around flickering television screens and quick-cut imagery. It appears to preview new music, though no official details have been confirmed. Yet within seconds of its release, viewers began dissecting the footage frame by frame. One particular moment — a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it flash on a TV monitor — shows what looks like a close-up of an eye, possibly part of a face.

For many, the image resembles Grande’s unmistakable features. Some fans have even linked the visual to her Positions-era aesthetic, pointing to similarities in makeup styling and lighting. Screenshots quickly circulated across social platforms, with side-by-side comparisons amplifying the theory.

The speculation arrives at a time when conversations about a potential reunion are already simmering. Earlier this year, The Weeknd publicly celebrated his four collaborations with Grande in a succinct Instagram post, punctuated by five explosion emojis. The implication was subtle but deliberate: four hits so far — and perhaps a fifth on deck.

Their collaborative history is well documented. It began with “Love Me Harder” in 2014, a standout from Grande’s My Everything that climbed to No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2020, they reunited for “Off the Table,” followed by the chart-topping “Save Your Tears (Remix)” in 2021, which reached No. 1 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard Global 200. In 2023, Grande appeared on a remix of “Die For You,” helping return the track to the summit after a viral resurgence.

There is also creative groundwork to support the rumors. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Grande confirmed that the pair have recorded additional material. “We have so many special songs together,” she said, explaining that several tracks were shelved because “it wasn’t right for the time.”
