The white vinyl comes as Miley Cyrus continues to build anticipation around BASS PERSUADES, her first full-length album through Atlantic Records after 14 years with Sony Music. The project follows 2025’s Something Beautiful and marks another major transition in her career, both musically and professionally.
Miley officially launched the BASS PERSUADES era on September 3 with the album’s title track. The song leans into dance-pop, pairing a four-on-the-floor rhythm with a prominent bassline, disco influences and polished 1980s-inspired synths. Its focus on the physical experience of music and the dance floor also provides an early indication of the sound and attitude surrounding the new record.
The vinyl announcement arrives as interest in Cyrus’ return to live performance reaches a remarkable level. More than 1.2 million people entered the Ticketmaster queue for the American Express pre-sale of her two upcoming Hollywood Bowl shows, scheduled for October 16 and 18.
The concerts, billed as “Miley: Bass Persuades – Live at the Hollywood Bowl,” will mark Miley’s first performances at the iconic Los Angeles venue. With approximately 17,500 seats available per night, the two shows offer roughly 35,000 seats combined — a fraction of the demand represented by the 1.2 million-person queue.
Cyrus has framed the Hollywood Bowl dates as a homecoming, writing, “LA is my heart and I’m bringing it home.” Model/Actriz will open both shows, which are tied directly to the new album campaign.
