NINGNING has established herself as one of aespa’s standout vocalists, earning recognition for her powerful voice, distinctive stage presence, and activities beyond the group’s discography. Born Ning Yizhuo on October 23, 2002, in Harbin, China, the singer joined SM Entertainment after attracting attention through a Chinese television singing competition. Since aespa’s debut, she has continued to demonstrate her versatility through soundtrack contributions, collaborations, and performances.
Before entering the K-pop industry, NINGNING studied in China and developed her singing skills at an early age. She continued her soundtrack work in 2024 with “Count on Me” for the drama The Midnight Studio.
Beyond music, NINGNING has expanded her presence in the entertainment industry.
