DJ Khaled’s long-awaited new album AALAM OF GOD failed to arrive on July 17, despite the producer previously announcing that date as the project’s official release. As of Friday, the album remains unavailable across streaming platforms, and Khaled has yet to comment on the delay or reveal a revised schedule.

The silence comes after months of anticipation surrounding what was expected to be Khaled’s 14th studio album and his first full-length release since 2022’s God Did. Announced in April, AALAM OF GOD was set to launch through We the Best Music Group and Republic Records, ending the longest gap between solo albums of Khaled’s career.

This is not the first setback during the album’s rollout. Back in February 2025, Khaled unveiled a cinematic trailer introducing the project, then newly renamed from Til Next Time to AALAM OF GOD. The seven-minute video, starring Mark Wahlberg and Anthony Ramos, also claimed the album would include two collaborations with Drake.

That announcement quickly unraveled after Drake publicly responded in the Instagram comments, writing, Must be @drakebell,” making it clear he was not involved with the project. Khaled subsequently deleted both the trailer and the announcement post, fueling speculation that significant changes had been made behind the scenes.

Despite that controversy, Khaled later confirmed a July 17, 2026 release date and continued promoting AALAM OF GOD as one of his biggest projects yet. According to previously released information, the album is expected to feature appearances from Burna Boy, Cardi B, Tems, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Future, Lil Baby, Rick Ross, GloRilla, Jay-Z, Rod Wave, Ozuna, G Herbo, and additional guests who had not yet been announced.

The album’s title references the Arabic phrase meaning “world of God” while also honoring Khaled’s younger son, Aalam. During the original announcement, Khaled described the record by saying, This is not my last album, it’s my Black album, comparing its significance to Jay-Z’s iconic 2003 release.

Fans had already begun questioning whether the project would arrive after Khaled remained unusually quiet throughout the hours leading up to midnight. With no countdown, no final promotional push, and no explanation once the release window passed, uncertainty has only continued to grow.
