Don Toliver has quietly expanded the creative scope of his Octane era with a digital deluxe release that includes a notable pop crossover. Among the three new tracks added to the album, “Rocket Power” stands out for its prominent sample of Charli xcx’s “party 4 u.”
“Rocket Power” appears as track 20 on the Octane (Digital Deluxe) edition and credits both Charli xcx and longtime collaborator A. G. Cook as co-writers alongside Toliver. The inclusion reflects the careful clearance and acknowledgment of the source material, originally released on Charli’s 2020 album how i’m feeling now. The song later took on renewed cultural relevance during her Brat era, culminating in a music video released years after its initial debut.
The Octane deluxe edition also introduces “Ease Your Mind” and “Falling Asleep,” rounding out a brief expansion of the project. Octane first arrived on January 30, 2026, and follows Toliver’s 2024 album Hardstone Psycho.
The deluxe release arrives shortly after the announcement of Toliver’s upcoming Octane Tour, a major North American run set to bring the album to arenas and large theaters this spring and summer. The tour launches May 8 in Orlando and wraps July 5 in Denver, with stops planned in key markets including Houston, Boston, New York, and Los Angeles. Special guests SahBabii, SoFaygo, and Chase B are set to join select dates.
