JAY-Z’s 30th anniversary celebration continues to grow. Following overwhelming demand, the rap icon has officially added second dates to both his upcoming London and Los Angeles stadium stops, expanding the highly anticipated JAY-Z30 tour.
The newly announced performances will take place on September 5 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London and October 24 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, joining the previously announced concerts on September 4 and October 23, respectively.
The expanded schedule follows a string of milestone announcements celebrating two defining moments in the rapper’s career: the 30th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt and the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint. The exclusive series of stadium concerts began in New York with sold-out performances at Yankee Stadium on July 10 and 11, before expanding to London, Paris, and Los Angeles.
Demand for the anniversary tour has remained exceptionally strong after JAY-Z transformed Yankee Stadium into a celebration of his catalog. During the second night on July 11, dedicated to The Blueprint, fans witnessed surprise appearances from Eminem, Pharrell Williams, and Slick Rick. The setlist featured classics including “The Ruler’s Back,” “Hola’ Hovito,” “Girls, Girls, Girls,” “Heart of the City (Ain’t No Love),” “Never Change,” and “U Don’t Know.”
One of the evening’s standout moments came when Eminem joined JAY-Z for a live performance of “Renegade,” marking the pair’s first shared stage in years.
The JAY-Z30 campaign has also coincided with renewed attention on the rapper’s legendary catalog. Earlier this year, the original version of “Dead Presidents” arrived on streaming services, while his performance at Roots Picnic generated headlines after fans interpreted portions of his freestyle as references to Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Kanye West.
