Jay-Z Brings Out Eminem and Pharrell on Night 2 at Yankee Stadium: Full Setlist

JAY-Z continued his historic three-night residency at Yankee Stadium on July 11 with another unforgettable celebration, this time honoring the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint. The second sold-out show featured surprise appearances from Eminem, Pharrell Williams and Slick Rick.

Unlike the opening night, which focused on Reasonable Doubt‘s 30th anniversary, night two revolved around The Blueprint, the landmark 2001 album that cemented Jay-Z’s place among rap’s all-time greats. Fans were treated to performances of signature tracks including “The Ruler’s Back,” “Hola’ Hovito,” “Girls, Girls, Girls,” “Jigga That Nigga,” “Heart of the City (Ain’t No Love),” “Never Change” and “U Don’t Know,” bringing the record’s timeless production and lyrical confidence to a stadium audience.

One of the evening’s earliest highlights came when Slick Rick joined Jay-Z onstage for “The Ruler’s Back.” The legendary rapper then performed classics including “La Di Da Di” and “Children’s Story.”

Pharrell Williams also made a surprise appearance, revisiting songs from his longtime creative partnership with Jay-Z. The biggest surprise, however, belonged to Eminem. The Detroit icon reunited with Jay-Z for a live performance of “Renegade,” marking their first shared stage in years. After trading verses on the fan-favorite collaboration, Eminem remained onstage to perform “Lose Yourself,” sending the Bronx crowd into a frenzy.
