Lil Baby’s fifth studio album, FRESH, generated 6.1 million streams on Spotify during its first day of release, marking a noticeable slowdown compared with his previous projects. Despite the softer opening on the platform, the 17-track record immediately found stronger traction on Apple Music, where it reached No. 1 on the US all-genre chart, and on the US iTunes album chart.
Released November 6, 2026, FRESH recorded the 11th-biggest first-day streaming debut among rap albums released this year. Its opening-day average came to approximately 356,000 streams per track, with “Mr. Do Something” leading the album’s new material at 882K streams. “All My Partnas,” featuring Future, Young Thug and Rylo Rodriguez, followed with approximately 571K streams.

The numbers represent a considerable decline from Lil Baby’s previous Spotify debuts. His 2025 album WHAM opened with roughly 16 million streams, while It’s Only Me generated 23.6 million in its first day in 2022. Even earlier releases performed better, including My Turn with 15.5 million, Drip Harder with 13.9 million, The Voice of the Heroes with 12.1 million and Street Gossip with 9.9 million.
Apple Music, however, tells a different story. FRESH debuted at No. 1 on the US all-genre albums chart, extending Lil Baby’s streak of studio albums reaching the platform’s top position. The project also became one of only two rap albums released in 2026, alongside Drake’s ICEMAN, to place multiple songs at No. 1 on the US Apple Music chart. Both “Dead Fresh” and “Mr. Do Something” reached the summit, while the album occupied five positions in the platform’s US Top 10 songs chart at certain points.
The project also reached No. 1 on the US iTunes album chart on release day.
The album’s rollout had been building throughout the summer, with anticipation surrounding its collaborations and Pharrell Williams-produced lead single, “Dead Fresh.” Future and Young Thug reunite with Lil Baby on “All My Partnas,” following their appearance together on “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber” from WHAM, which peaked at No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100.
