Lil Uzi Vert’s scheduled Lollapalooza 2026 performance has been canceled due to travel complications. The rapper was set to take the stage at Grant Park in Chicago on Friday, July 31, at 6:40 p.m., with the cancellation announced less than two hours before his scheduled performance.
Festival staff informed attendees of the change from the stage, confirming that Uzi would no longer perform during the second day of Lollapalooza. The cancellation also affected the evening schedule, with Zara Larsson’s performance pushed back as a result.
Uzi’s absence comes on his 31st birthday, adding another unexpected turn to an already eventful Friday at Lollapalooza 2026. The rapper had been scheduled to perform as part of a packed day featuring some of the festival’s biggest names, including K-pop idol i-dle.
Friday’s Lollapalooza lineup was originally set to feature Uzi in the early evening before Zara Larsson and headliner Charli XCX took over the main stage. Following the cancellation, festival staff adjusted the timing for Larsson’s set, leaving Charli as the final scheduled performer on the stage.
The change comes one day after Lorde headlined the festival’s opening night with a career-spanning performance that included a surprise appearance from Charli XCX. The two artists performed their “Girl, so confusing” remix together.
Lollapalooza 2026 continues through August 2 at Chicago’s Grant Park, with more than 170 artists scheduled across eight stages throughout the four-day festival. Friday’s programming also includes Major Lazer and a broad mix of international and emerging acts, while official coverage continues to stream across Hulu and Disney+ in North America.
