Chris Brown and Usher Launch R&B Tour in Denver: Full Opening Night Setlist

Chris Brown and Usher officially launched their long-awaited R&B Tour on June 26 with a blockbuster opening night at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver. The co-headlining stadium show brought together two of the genre’s biggest stars for a career-spanning production featuring more than 50 songs, surprise collaborations, and a celebration of two decades of R&B hits.

Opening with a joint performance of “Party,” Brown and Usher immediately set the tone for a show built around both artists’ catalogs. From there, Usher took command with classics including “Yeah,” “Caught Up,” “U Don’t Have To Call,” and “Love In This Club,” before Brown answered with fan favorites such as “Poppin’,” “Wall To Wall,” “Deuces,” “Loyal,” “Look At Me Now,” and “Run It.”

Rather than alternating short segments, the production allowed each performer extended solo moments while reuniting throughout the night for collaborative performances.

The Denver kickoff marks the beginning of a stadium trek first announced in April. Promoted by Live Nation, the North American run stretches through December 11, concluding at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. Stops include Detroit, Toronto, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and dozens of other major markets.

The title itself carries a double meaning. While it celebrates the genre that helped define both artists, it also references their names—Raymond, Usher’s middle name, and Brown, Chris’ surname.

Excitement surrounding the collaboration has been building since October 2025, when Usher made a surprise appearance during the Atlanta stop of Brown’s Breezy Bowl XX Stadium World Tour. The performance quickly went viral, fueling speculation that eventually became reality with the announcement of a full co-headlining tour.

Both artists entered the tour following career-defining live runs. According to Billboard Boxscore, Brown’s Breezy Bowl XX grossed $295.5 million and sold 1.98 million tickets across 49 shows, making it the highest-grossing tour of his career. Usher, meanwhile, wrapped his Past Present and Future Tour after a hugely successful Las Vegas residency and his acclaimed Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show performance.
